A PERSON suffered major injuries in a fall from a bridge on Wakefield Road in Bradford this evening.
An air ambulance and an ambulance were called at 7.10pm today to the scene on Wakefield Road.
A spokesperson for the Yorkshire Ambulance Service said: "A person had fallen off a bridge and is believed to have suffered major trauma. They were conveyed by ambulance to Leeds General Infirmary."
The West Yorkshire Police's Contact Management Centre tweeted: "Wakefield Road (Dudley Hill roundabout junction) down to city centre, the road is closed due to an ongoing incident. Please use diversions."
