A man was rescued from a car by the fire service after a head-on crash in Birkenshaw
A MAN had to be rescued after head-on collision between two vehicles in Birkenshaw this morning.
A crew from Cleckheaton Fire Station were called at 10am to the scene of the crash at Bradford Road in Birkenshaw.
An injured male was removed from one of the vehicles by fire service personnel using a piece of equipment known as a long board.
Although the nature of his injuries were not specified, he was taken to hospital by ambulance.
