A WOMAN and child suffered smoke inhalation during a house fire in Brighhouse last night.
Appliances from Cleckheaton, Odsal and Rastrick fire stations were St Giles Road, Lightcliffe, Brighouse, at 11.26pm on Friday.
The West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service reported that a chip pan was involved in the fire.
The woman and child suffered smoke inhalation and first aid was administered by fire service personnel.
Both were transported to hospital by ambulance.
