PLANS to build housing on a site in Steeton have been refused by Bradford Council.
There had been numerous objections to the proposals to build three homes on a plot of former garden land accessed off Sycamore Grove, including one from Steeton and Eastburn Parish Council - which urged Bradford Council to refuse the plans.
Submitted by Greg Wilkinson, the plans called for three detached homes to be built on the site.

Planning officers pointed out that there were homes surrounding the land, and said the new homes would have an "overbearing impact on neighbours to the north and south of the site."
They added: "The proposal fails to provide safe and suitable access arrangements to serve the development likely to result in conditions prejudicial to pedestrian and highway safety."
