A KEIGHLEY resident has started their weekend with an amazing surprise after they won £30,000 with People’s Postcode Lottery.
BD21 3EH was announced as a winner with the lottery today, landing the lucky player a £30,000 windfall.
This latest prize comes only a few weeks after 10 Keighley neighbours shared £330,000 when BD21 1SW was revealed as a winning postcode on August 14.
The winner chose to remain anonymous and People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador Jeff Brazier sent his congratulations: "What a lovely way to start your weekend.
“Congratulations to our winner in Keighley today, I hope they make the most of their winnings and treat themselves to something special with the cash."
People’s Postcode Lottery costs £10 a month to play and there are guaranteed winners every day. People play with their chosen postcode and are automatically entered into all draws.
A minimum of 33 per cent of ticket sales goes directly to charities and players of People’s Postcode Lottery have helped raise more than £750 million to date for thousands of good causes across Britain and internationally.
This draw was promoted on behalf of Postcode Education Trust. The Trust supports charities and good causes which provide education, particularly in emergency situations, through regular grant funding. Supported charities include Book Aid International, Theirworld and UNICEF.
