JOINT Captains of Horsforth Golf Club, Paul and Carole Edmondson, are hosting a family fun day at the club on Saturday 11 September, to raise funds and awareness for Lucy Air Ambulance for Children (LucyAAC).
Two years ago, the charity flew their premature grandson Charlie over 300 miles, when he was born with complications, from a hospital in Plymouth to St James’s University Hospital in Leeds, so he could continue his specialist treatment closer to home.
Lucy AAC flies children between hospitals across the UK for treatment. During the pandemic, it has been more difficult for them, with fundraising opportunities cancelled but demand for their service still rising. For more information, or to see how you can support, visit www.lucyaac.org.uk.
