FIRE crews attended a house fire in Clayton last night.
At 9.10pm, appliances from Fairweather Green and Bradford (x2) visited the property on Pentland Avenue.
There was one female casualty. She had smoke inhalation and was checked at the scene.
Fairweather Green remained at the address until just after midnight.
Fire investigation are still trying to find the root cause of the blaze.
A spokesperson from Fairweather Green station said: "There was a house fire last night on Pentland Avenue, Clayton at 9.10pm.
"Fairweather Green and two Bradford appliances attended the scene.
"There was one female casualty with smoke inhalation who was checked at the scene.
"We were there until half past 12 making the scene safe.
"The fire investigation is trying to find the root cause of the fire."
