JUST one death from Covid-19 has been reported in the Bradford district’s hospitals from across the Bank Holiday weekend, as 160 people have died in England.
The only fatality was recorded at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust on Saturday, August 28, having occurred on Friday 27, taking the total number of Covid hospital deaths in the district to 948.
Of these, 673 have been reported at Bradford Teaching Hospitals, 273 at Airedale NHS Foundation Trust, and two at Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust.
Nationally, 160 more deaths were recorded over the weekend; 86 on Saturday, 31 on Sunday, 20 on Monday and 24 yesterday.
It means the total number of patients to have died from Covid-19 in hospital in England now stands at 90,387.
Elsewhere in West Yorkshire, a further three people died in Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust over the Bank Holiday weekend, while one died at Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust.
