Armed police swoop on town centre street
ARMED police swooped on a street this evening.
They were scrambled to the Lidget Hill area of Pudsey following reports of an assault.
Officers remain at the scene and a West Yorkshire Police spokesman said enquiries are ongoing.
A number of police vehicles, as well as an ambulance, have been in the area.
There are also reports of the police helicopter flying overhead.
