A BRADFORD man has appeared in court charged with stealing three sweatshirts from a city shop.
Lee Burns, 39, of Grattan Studios, was given a community order, including a rehabilitation activity requirement and ordered to carry out 90 hours unpaid work in the community over the next 12 months, for stealing three Superdry sweatshirts, worth a total of £149.97, from the company’s store at The Broadway, Bradford.
The incident took place on March 19, 2020.
Burns pleaded guilty to both charges when he appeared before Bradford & Keighley Magistrates’ Court on August 18, 2021.
He also appeared at this hearing charged with failing to surrender to police/court bail at the appointed time, at Bradford & Keighley Magistrates’ Court on July 28, 2021.
