AN application to convert a shop on Cemetery Road into a restaurant and shisha bar has been submitted to Bradford Council.
The plans relate to 107 Cemetery Road, on the corner of Wallis Street. The unit is currently trading as a discount store.
Submitted by a Mr Hadir, the planning application says the business would open from noon until 3am on weekdays and noon until 4am on weekends.
It would create 10 full time jobs and seven part time jobs, an increase from the two full time and two part time jobs at the current business.
The plans say the restaurant would be 130 square metres, and be based in the more modern front section of the address.

There would be 38 parking spaces on the site for restaurant customers.
A decision on the application is expected in October.
The Cemetery Road area of Bradford is home to a number of major businesses, with a large Asda supermarket down the road, as well as Howdens Joinery, a Morrisons food manufacturing site and Bradford Bazaar.
