BRADFORD Council has announced details of traffic restrictions on Great Horton Road and surrounding streets.

A waiting, loading and parking order, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, will mean the introduction of:

No waiting at any time on lengths of All Saints Road, Dirkhill Road, Dirkhill Street, Horton Park Avenue and Turner Place;

No waiting at any time and no Loading 7.30am-9.30am an 4.00pm-6.30pm on lengths of All Saints Road, Cecil Avenue, Great Horton Road, Horton Grange Road and Horton Park Avenue;

No waiting and no loading 7.30am-9.30am and 4.00pm-6.30pm Mon to Fri on a length of Horton Park Avenue;

Permit parking at all times on a length of All Saints Great Horton Road;

Limited waiting 30 mins no return within one hour, except permit holders on lengths of Dirkhill Street, Noble Street and Turner Place;

Limited waiting 9am-5pm 30 mins, no return within one hour. Permit holders only at any other time on lengths of All Saints Road;

Limited waiting Mon-Fri 8.30am-4pm, September 1 to July 31, 30 minutes no return within one hour;

Limited waiting Mon-Sat 8am-6pm one hour, no return within two hours on a length of Great Horton Road.

The council has also announced a Moving Taffic (Consolidation) order for Great Horton Road, Horton Grange Road and Horton Park Avenue junctions. This will mean:

Prohibition of driving (road closure) at the junction with Frank Street and Cecil Avenue;

One-way direction of traffic on lengths of All Saints Road, Turner Place, Noble Street and Dirkhill Street;

No right turn from Great Horton Road into All Saints Road;

Prohibition of goods vehicles over 7.5 tonnes except for loading on lengths of All Saints Road, Noble Street, Turner Street and Dirkhill Street.

A 20mph speed limit order is to be introduced on lengths of All Saints Road, Dirkhill Road, Dirkhill Street, Turner Street and Noble Street.
