A MEMBER of the public managed to catch the incredible moment a bird of prey swooped down and caught a seagull above a house.
The photo was taken in the Idle area of Bradford and, while slightly blurred, clearly showed a bird of prey with what looks to be a seagull in its talons above a house.
Amazingly, the seagull looked to be the same size, if not larger, than its captor.
The image was shared on a community group on Facebook, alongside another photo, and people questioned whether it was a Sparrowhawk or a Red Kite.
But the consensus seemed to be that it was the former.
The second photo shared on the post was more graphic in its nature.
The bird had landed in the photographer's garden and was stood among a pile of white feathers.
