A MAN who is suspected to have murdered his wife has been arrested in Scotland after a police hunt of three days.
Mark Barrott, 54, was detained by officers from Police Scotland in the Elgin area at about 4.30am today.
Police have arrested him on suspicion of the murder of Eileen Barrott, 50.
She was found dead at the couple's home in Naburn Fold, Whinmoor, on Sunday.
West Yorkshire Police launched a major appeal to find Barrott on Monday, after CCTV showed he left Leeds Railway Station by train at 1pm on the Sunday and arrived in Edinburgh Waverley Station at 4pm.
The 54-year-old will be brought back to West Yorkshire to be interviewed by detectives from the Homicide and Major Enquiry Team.
