A NUMBER of people have been hit with fines at Bradford Magistrates’ Court for breaching Covid-19 rules.
The cases have only come to court this month, but date back to January this year when the lockdown was imposed.
- Sahrek Akhtar, 24, of Halstead Place, Bradford, was fined £660, ordered to pay £85 court costs and a £66 victim surcharge for, at Bradford, being a person living in tier 4 area, leave/were outside of place where living, without reasonable excuse, on November 1, 2020.
- Thimothy Myuimulu Akway, 25, of Ashgrove, Great Horton, Bradford, was fined £660, ordered to pay £85 costs and a £66 victim surcharge, for participating in a gathering of two or more people in private dwelling/indoors in tier 4 area on January 23, 2021.
- Najeeb Ullah Khan, 31, of Halstead Place, Bradford, was fined £660, ordered to pay £85 costs and a £66 victim surcharge for being a person living in tier 4 area, leave/were outside of place where living, without reasonable excuse, on January 11, 2021.
- Safi Khayer, 21, of Skinner Lane, Bradford, was fined £660, ordered to pay £85 costs and a £66 victim surcharge for participating in a gathering of two or more people in private dwelling/indoors in tier 4 area, on January 19, 2021.
- Kenneth Asbery, 72, Rushmoor Road, Bradford, was fined £120, ordered to pay £85 costs and a £34 victim surcharge for participating in gathering of two or more people in private dwelling/indoors in tier 4 area, on January 12, 2021.
- Faraz Kouser Akhtar, 23, of Trenton Drive, Bradford, was fined £660, ordered to pay £85 court costs and a £66 victim surcharge for being a person living in tier 4 area, leave/were outside of place where living, without reasonable excuse, on January 11, 2021.
- Shayan Sawant, 21, of Middlebrook Crescent, Bradford, was fined £660, ordered to pay £85 costs and a £66 victim surcharge for participating in gathering of two or more people in private dwelling/indoors in tier 4 area, on January 24, 2021.
- Ahmed Hussain, 22, of Rossefield Road, Heaton, Bradford, was fined £660, ordered to pay £85 costs and a £66 victim surcharge for being a person living in tier 4 area, leave/were outside of place where living, without reasonable excuse, on January 31, 2021.
- Muhammed Bilal, 25, of De Walden Way, The Green, Bradford, was fined £660, ordered to pay £85 costs and a £66 victim surcharge, for being a person living in tier 4 area, leave/were outside of place where living, without reasonable excuse, on January 19, 2021.
- David Riley, 60, of Stirling Crescent, Bradford, was fined £660, ordered to pay £85 costs and a £66 victim surcharge for participating in a gathering of two or more people in private dwelling/indoors in tier 4 area, on January 12, 2021.
- Zaynab Raja, 20, of Farfield Terrace, Bradford, was fined £660, ordered to pay £85 costs and a £66 victim surcharge, for participating in a gathering of two or more people in private dwelling/indoors in tier 4 area, on January 19, 2021.
- Jermaine McLeary, 38, of North Wing, Bradford, was fined £660, ordered to pay £85 costs and a £66 victim surcharge, for hold/involved in holding gathering of more than 30 persons in a private dwelling in tier 3 area, on January 1, 2021.
