A PUFFIN crossing is proposed for a Bradford road.

Anyone who wishes to comment on the proposal should send the grounds for their objection in writing either by post to the address below or by e-mail to legalobjections@bradford.gov.uk, to be received no later than 12 noon on Friday September 3, 2021, quoting reference CORP/PCD/AK/409654.
Bradford Council has published a number of notices relating to temporary road closures due to work being carried out across the district.
Gas work being carried out on or near Mill Lane, Bradford, has necessitated the temporary closure of a length of the road from its junction with Ludlam Street to its junction with Gordon Street. The order, which came into force last Monday, is in place until Monday September 6. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for traffic affected by the order are via Mill Lane (the unaffected section), Boiling Road, Wakefield Road, Croft Street, Manchester Road and vice versa.
Gas work being carried out on or near Fleet Lane and Foxhill Grove, Queensbury has resulted in the temporary closure of Fleet Lane - from a point outside number 84, to a point outside number 90, and Foxhill Grove from its junction with Fleet Lane to its junction with Foxhill Avenue. Pedestrians will still be able to use the roads.
Alternative routes for traffic are available via Fleet Lane (the unaffected section), Brighouse and Denhome Road, Albert Road, High Street, West End and vice versa.
Currently in place, the order applies until 6pm on Wednesday September 1.
Electrical work being undertaken on or near Rook Lane, Bradford, means the closure to traffic on Rook Lane from its junction with Rooley Lane to its junction with Factory Lane.
Pedestrian access will be maintained.
Alternative routes for traffic affected by the order are available via Rook Lane (the unaffected section), Tong Street, Dudley Hill Interchange, Rooley Lane and vice versa. It is in force until 6pm on Wednesday September 1.
Work on the water main proposed on or near Whetley Close, Manningham, necessitates the closure of Whetley Close, Manningham from its junction with White Abbey Road, to a point outside number 2 White Abbey Road. Pedestrian access will be maintained.
No alternative routes for vehicles affected are available. The order will run from 7pm until 9.30pm on Wednesday August 26.
A section of footpath has been temporarily closed due to perceived dangers. Public footpath number 18 (Queensbury) is closed from its junction with Deanstones Lane for approximately 50 metres in a north easterly direction.
No alternative route for pedestrians affected by the closure - which is in force until 6pm on Friday September 3 - is available.
