A MAN has been reported to the police after riding an off-road motorbike with no helmet with a young child sat on the seat in front of him.
Officers from West Yorkshire Police’s Steerside Enforcement Team caught the motorbike rider.
Officers condemned the rider, saying his behaviour was dangerous and it also looked ridiculous.
Police today tweeted about the incident: “Off road motorbike ridden up the road by an adult male wearing no helmet with his young child sat on the seat in front of him.
“Apart from looking utterly ridiculous, it is also quite obviously dangerous to do this and the male was reported to court for various offences.”
Operation Steerside was launched four years ago and works seven days a week using innovative tactics to address anti-social and dangerous driving on the district’s road network.
