A 20-YEAR-old man has been charged with murder after a man died in Halifax over the weekend.
Officers were called to Myrtle Avenue at 8.57am on Saturday after reports that a man had been injured.
The man, 20, was taken to hospital, but was pronounced dead a short time later.
His family are being supported by specially-trained officers from West Yorkshire Police’s Homicide and Major Enquiry Team, who are leading the investigation.
Jake Wilkinson, 20, of Furness Drive, Halifax, will appear at Bradford Magistrates' Court today.
A 35-year-old woman who was arrested has been released under investigation.
