METRO Bank opened its 78th branch today – with the new Bradford city centre premises becoming the company's most northerly location.
The branch will be open seven days a week, and has created 20 new jobs in the area.
Metro is known for its exceptional customer service and says customers will be able to walk-in and open a bank account without an appointment and leave with a debit card in their hand to minimise any waiting time.
Metro Bank store manager Denis Charlette said: “We are proud to be Metro Bank’s most northern based store.
"During construction we have been made to feel so welcome in this community and we now look forward to serving all our local communities be they consumers, entrepreneurs or business owners with our people focused, friendly style of banking.”
The community bank, in the city's Market Street, will house 4,229 safe deposit boxes and will combine face-to-face banking with state-of-the-art technology depending on the customers preference.
The dog-friendly store will also have water bowls, treats and branded bandanas available for four legged VIP visitors.
Metro is the number one bank for stores in the CMA’s Service Quality Survey.
