REMEMBER Dillons in Bradford city centre?
The bookstore opened in 1996 in the former Rackhams store on Market Street and attracted some famous faces for book signings.
Pictured above is Linus Twizell, who was delighted to have his book signed by Chris Kamara at Dillons in 1996, when Kammy was Bradford City manager.
Other sporting heroes who made an appearance at Dillons included cricket legend Ian Botham. Fans turned out to meet 'Beefy', hailed as one of the greatest ever all-rounders of cricket, at the bookstore back in 1997.
And football hero Jack Charlton thrilled fans when he signed copies of his autobiography at the Market Street shop.
Also pictured in our gallery is a queue at Dillons for Robson Green, back in 1997. A youthful Robson Green is pictured meeting a fan at the store. The Soldier Soldier star had recently topped the charts as one half of Robson and Jerome.
Ilkey-born novelist Jilly Cooper visited Dillons too, to sign copies of her latest blockbuster.
