PARAMEDICS and police have been on the scene of a collision between a car and pedestrians in the car park behind Skipton Town Hall this afternoon.
A witness said a woman and two children were struck by a car just outside the toilets in Jerry Croft.
The car and driver remained at the scene.
The incident occurred at around 12.30pm and police cordoned off the area while medics treated the injured.
A Yorkshire Ambulance Service spokeswoman said they sent two land ambulances, a clinical supervisor and an air ambulance to the scene where pedestrians had been injured in a collision with a car.
The air ambulance tried to land at the bowling club but was forced to touch down instead in the castle grounds.
The land ambulances left the scene at around 1.15pm.
The road into Jerry Croft was opened at 1.25pm and the air ambulance left at 1.50pm.
No further information has been released.
