BRADFORD can look forward to a mixture of sunshine and thunder this weekend, with a weather warning in place today.

FRIDAY
A yellow weather warning for thunderstorms will be in place for northern England, including Bradford, and Scotland, all day today.
But it looks like Bradford will avoid the thunderstorms as instead today will see the district have heavy showers at times, especially this morning, with temperatures set to reach a high of 18C.
But conditions will improve from 5pm as the heavy rain is replaced with sunshine and showers for the evening.
Temperatures will only fall to 13C by 11pm tonight.
SATURDAY
A yellow weather warning for thunderstorms will again be in place between 4am to 11.59pm tomorrow for northern England, including Bradford, Scotland and North Wales.
It looks more likely Bradford will get a thunderstorm tomorrow, with the Met Office predicting one for 5pm.
Tomorrow will start with a morning of sunshine and showers, replaced by heavy showers between noon and 3pm, before sunshine and showers and the brief spell of thunder.
From 6pm, the evening will be a mixture of sunshine and showers.
The temperature will reach a high of 18C, with a dry night seeing the mercury only plunge to 15C by 10pm.
SUNDAY
The weekend will close with a mixture of sunny, cloudy and wet conditions, but will be the best day of the weekend.
Temperatures will reach a high of 17C.
No weather warnings are in place for Bradford this Sunday, according to the Met Office.
