A MAN was disqualified from driving for one year and had to pay a total of more than £200 after he drove with drugs in his system on a Bradford road.
On November 32, 2020, Alex James Prophett, 24, drove a motor vehicle, namely MA07JHK, on Barkerend Road, when the proportion of a controlled drug, Delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), was in his blood.
The seven micrograms per 100ml of blood exceeded the specified limit.
The Wallsend man pleaded guilty, was fined £120, and made to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £85.
The case was heard at Bradford And Keighley Magistrates Court on May 13.
