A BRADFORD MP has written to the Transport Secretary asking why Pakistan has not been removed from the red list for overseas travel.
In the Government's most recent changes to travel restrictions, India has been moved to the amber list, while Pakistan remains on the red list.
Naz Shah, Bradford West MP, has today contacted Grant Shapps, saying these government decisions "have real life impacts on people's lives".
She added many of her constituents have families who have been stuck in Pakistan for months.

In the letter, which she tweeted, Ms Shah said: "India's seven-day infection rate is 20 per 100,000 people and is now on the amber list but Pakistan, whose seven-day infection rate is just 14 per 100,000 - well below the vast majority of amber list destinations, remains on the red list.
"Minister, I urge you to urgently reconsider your decision to leave Pakistan on the red list whilst Covid rates are much lower than many of those on the amber list.
"We are living in a pandemic and such decisions will have lasting effects."
The Philippines, Pakistan, Kenya and Bangladesh were added to England’s “red list” of countries under a travel ban in April this year.
