POLICE dealt with 58 animal issues over the weekend, including 13 on the run.
West Yorkshire Police's Wildlife & Rural Crime Team revealed its latest update on the jobs it has solved yesterday.
All 58 incidents happened over the weekend.
Thankfully, there were no reported dog thefts, but officers were called to 23 dog-related incidents, which includes bites and loose animals.
The other issues included, 18 horse-related incidents, 13 loose farm animals and four incidents described as "other".
A spokesperson for the Wildlife & Rural Crime Team said: "As always, there may have been things that have been reported direct to local wildlife officers that may not be included on this report."
