TACO Bell has seen its plans for new signage at its upcoming restaurant in Greengates approved by Bradford Council.
It means that new signs will be erected at the site in Harrogate Road, which was formerly home to a KFC restaurant.
The signage that will be installed includes two ‘totem’ signs featuring the Taco Bell logo and signs for its drive-through, as well as a menu board, specials board, a height restrictions barrier, direction signs for the drive-through, an exit sign and a metal frame for banners to be fastened to.
In approving the plans, Bradford Council said the signs will replacing existing signs for KFC, the signs are set back from the road and there will be limited view of some from the road, so there is no impact on the street scene in Harrogate Road.
The KFC restaurant at the site in Greengates, which also includes Core Gym, Greggs and Explore Learning, and is located next to Sainsbury's, Argros, B&M and Costa Coffee has been close for a while, with the site set to become one of several Taco Bells due to open soon in and around the district as the Mexican-themed fast food outlet expands in the UK.
