BRADFORD has been basking in a heatwave for the last few days – but there is a respite in sight.
Today the district can expect another hot day with the mercury rising to 28C.
But Bradford may also have its first spell of rain for days later today.
The Met Office predicts there will be a spell of sunshine and showers in Bradford between 4pm and 6pm.
This will be followed by an evening of hot, sunny conditions.
You can also expect another tough night for sleeping with the temperature only falling to 19C by 11pm.
But today looks to be the last day of this heatwave as tomorrow will see temperatures fall to a high of 23C with cloudy conditions expected.
The weekend will be even more comfortable as the blazing sun will be replaced by cloudy conditions.
Saturday will see a high of 21C, while Sunday will be a mixture of sunshine and showers with a maximum temperature of 22C.
