THREE further Covid-19-related hospital deaths have been reported in the Bradford district today, latest NHS figures show.
Two deaths were reported by Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. One patient died yesterday (July 19), while the other died on Sunday.
Airedale reported the death of a patient who passed away on July 16.
It means the total number of hospital deaths in the Bradford district now stands at 917 - 650 at Bradford Teaching Hospitals; 265 at Airedale and two at Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust.
Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust also reported the death of one patient, who passed away on July 19.
A total of 73 hospital deaths were reported in England today.
The figures are updated at 2pm each day and include confirmed death cases reported at 4pm the previous day.
NHS England says: "Confirmation of Covid-19 diagnosis, death notification, death certificates and reporting in central figures can take up to several days and the hospitals providing the data are under significant operational pressure.
"This means that the totals reported at 4pm on each day may not include all deaths that occurred on that day or on recent prior days."
