THE fire service and police both attended the scene of a suspected deliberate car arson in Keighley in the early hours of this morning.
A crew from Keighley Fire Station visited Glen Lee Lane at around 4.50am to deal with a stationary vehicle which was aflame.
One hose was used to dismantle the blaze.
A spokesperson from the station said: "There was a car fire at 4.50am this morning on Glen Lee Lane.
"The vehicle was stationary, and it is suspected to be a deliberate arson.
"One hose was used, and police were present."
A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: "At about 4.50am today (Tuesday) police received a report of a car fire in Glen Lee Lane, close to the junction with Long Lee Lane.
"A crime of arson has been recorded in relation to this incident and anyone with information which may assist this investigation is asked to contact police in Bradford on 101 or by using the options on the West Yorkshire Police website.
"The crime reference is 13210364717.
"Information can also be reported anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555111 or online."
