HOUSE buying firm Property Solvers has revealed that BD9 is the area of Bradford where home sellers have been reducing their prices the most.
Tracking 1,210 property transactions between July 2020 and July 2021, the monthly asking vs sold price data monitors the entire house sale process.
The biggest price discounts in Bradford were seen in the BD9 postcode. Across this region, nine sellers were knocking off an average of £-7,827 (or -4.75 per cent) from the initial asking price in the 12 months to July 2021.
Over the same period, the lowest hits on price were seen in BD5, where 16 home sellers reduced their properties by an average of £-2,481 (or -2.41 per cent) to get the sale going.
Property Solvers co-founder Ruban Selvanayagam said: “Despite a very active market, homebuyers are still, by and large, able to negotiate down on prices."
