WITH Covid-19 restrictions dropped today, people no longer have to wear masks or socially distance, and rules on travel have also changed.
From today those who are fully vaccinated no longer have to self-isolate upon returning from amber list countries - providing they test negative for Covid-19 - as well as green list nations.
This has freed up a whole raft of new travel destinations for Brits looking to get away for the summer - and as such Leeds Bradford Airports offering of flights has expanded to almost normal amounts again.
Some flights this week cost as little as £5 if anyone is seeking a last minute bargain break.
Gone are the days of solitary business flights to Belfast and Amsterdam once a day and back are plans full of holidaymakers jetting off across Europe, with the skies over Bradford getting a lot busier once again.
But where can you fly to from Leeds Bradford now? Here is the full list of destinations this week:
- Spain - Malaga, Ibiza, Majorca, Menorca, Alicante, Lanzarote, Fuerteventura, Tenerife, Gran Canaria, Reus
- Ireland - Dublin
- UK - Belfast, Southampton, Newquay
- Channel Islands - Jersey, Guernsey
- Poland - Krakow, Gdansk, Wroclaw, Nowy Dwór
- The Netherlands - Amsterdam
- Greece - Corfu, Crete, Skiathos, Kos, Kefalonia, Rhodes, Zante
- Lithuania - Vilnius
- Portugal - Faro, Madeira
- Malta
- France - Limoges, Bergerac
- Cyprus - Paphos
- Croatia - Split, Dubrovnik
- Slovakia - Bratislava
Single-vaccinated people still have to self-isolate for ten days upon returning to the UK from amber list countries, and everyone returning from green or amber list countries still has to take a test before setting off back and upon returning take another test within two days, and also fill out all the relevant locator forms.
Quarantine will still remain however for people returning from France - which is on the amber list - where there are concerns over the South African variant of Covid-19.
People are advised to check the Foreign Office website for the latest travel advice before leaving.
