A WIBSEY man has been with two counts of attempted murder after a man and woman were hit by a car in Dene Road, Bradford, last week.
Daniel McAllister, 32, of High Street, Wibsey, was charged with criminal damage, two counts of attempt murder and assault by beating in relation to an incident in Dene Road on July 8.
He was remanded in custody to appear before Leeds Magistrates at end of last week.
Police were called at 7.12pm on July 8 to Dene Road, Wibsey, to reports that two people had been struck by a vehicle. It is believed the vehicle left the scene.
A man and a woman, both in their thirties, were rushed to hospital.
The woman had serious leg injuries and it is believed she was pinned against another vehicle in the crash.
She was taken to Leeds General Infirmary (LGI), according to reports.
The man was found to have suffered hip injuries and it is believed he was taken to Bradford Royal Infirmary (BRI).
Both the man and woman were left with life-changing injuries.
They have been released from hospital but will have future hospital appointments for the injuries.
