A FORMER charity shop in Shipley town centre could become a new micropub if new plans are approved.
Last year local mental health charity the Cellar Trust announced it would be closing its shop on Kirkgate due to the impact of the Covid pandemic.
This month a planning application to convert the shop into a micropub was submitted to Bradford Council by a Mr Carlton.
The application says the bar, which will have seating over two floors, would also serve food.

If approved, the business would be able to open between noon and midnight.
Shipley Town Council has supported the application, saying it will help draw more people into the town centre.
A decision on the application is due next month.
