SPLIT loyalties come to mind when you think about how Italians in Bradford may feel about tomorrow's huge football final.
Those who have family ties to the Azzurri but live in England are undecided when asked which way their support will sway.
The Telegraph & Argus spoke to the owners of three of Bradford's most popular Italian restaurants to see who they are favouring to take home the trophy this weekend.
Aldo DeVittoris, of Aldo's Italian in Greengates, wants his home nation to get the win but would not be too displeased if the result went the other way.
He said: “I am happy that both teams are there. England and Italy have been the best teams in the tournament.
"I want Italy to win, and my wife wants England. If you drive past my house there is a St George’s flag hanging out of the window. So, may the best team win on the day.”
Mamma Mia's Leno Massimo, whose family originates from Naples, was at Wembley on Tuesday to agonisingly witness Italy's penalty shootout victory over Spain.
At time of writing, he is hoping to get tickets to the big one, something that was in place before England booked their place in the showpiece event.
Leno is undecided what the scoreline will finish but wishes both teams well.
He said: "Out of all the teams it would have to be England! If it wasn’t Italy in the final then I would want England to win.
"We have played two extra times and had a really hard run against the likes of Belgium and Spain.
"In Italy, the team were expected to reach at least the semi-finals after the run we have been on. But the bookies over here had us at 18/1, so I chucked a cheeky tenner on that.
"I think the final is 50/50 because you must include the fact that it is at Wembley in front of 60,000 fans with a high proportion of those supporting England. The best team on the day will win."
Pizza Pieces on Market Street, which has been going for over 30 years, feel they have already won by having both sides in the last two.
Owner Antonio Barbiero, 69, was born in Napoli before making the trip over to England at the age of 16.
He said: "I don’t think we played well against Spain. When I saw us miss the first penalty, I thought ‘oh no, here we go’. But we thankfully came through that.
"All the customers are talking about the game. It should be a very good. England are so good at passing the ball but Italy have a great defence.
"It is already a victory that England and Italy have both reached the final. I hope Italy win but if England win it is good as well."
