PLANS to turn a farm between Cottingley and Sandy Lane into a housing development have been submitted to Bradford Council.
The application would see 25 homes and a "flexible use" building created at Stocka House Farm, a former dairy farm in teh Green Belt on Lee Lane.
The application, by Stocka House Farm Partnership is for the construction of nine new houses on the site, the subdivision of a farm house to create three homes, the change of use of 10 farm buildings to create 12 dwellings, the change of use of an agricultural building to a flexible use and the extension of an existing bungalow on the site.
The application says: "The former farm was previously operated by the current owners family but the use has ceased."
Green Belt housing plans are refused
The development would create a "sustainable community" - according to the plans.
There would be 16 two bed houses, nine three bed houses and 56 parking spaces.
Four of the new homes would be classed as affordable, and the application adds: "The proposed development provides 25 new dwellings on a deliverable and sustainable site and there are no adverse impacts that significantly or demonstrably outweigh the benefits of new homes."
A decision on the application is expected in September.
