PLANS to expand a Baildon business have been approved by Bradford Council.
Printcraft, based at Acorn Business Park, between Otley Road and the River Aire, had applied for planning permission to expand a storage facility on the site to increase capacity.
The company said the expansion would secure the jobs of the 145 staff who work on the site, as well likely creating new jobs.
The expansion would create a total internal floorspace at the site of 1,918sqm.

The application has now been approved by planning officers, who said: “It would help support the ongoing business operations, expansion, and resulting employment opportunities, which would contribute towards the Council’s target of supporting economic growth and job creation.
"The proposed development will sit comfortably within the site adjacent to the existing larger building. It will not appear visually dominant or intrusive in the local area, being relatively hidden away at the far end of Acorn Park.
