A MAN was left with a stab wound in his leg as police attended a report of a group of males with baseball bats in Bradford.
The call was made at 6.49pm yesterday evening and he was found in Kettlewell Drive, Little Horton.
Bradford District CID recovered a knife from the scene.
The men were believed to have been running from the direction of the Canterbury Youth Centre.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said: "At 6.49pm yesterday (Monday), police received a report of a group of males with baseball bats who were said to have run from the direction of Canterbury Youth Centre.
"Officers attended and found a man in Kettlewell Drive with a stab wound to his leg.
"He was taken to hospital for further treatment.
"Enquiries at the scene led to a knife being recovered.
"Bradford District CID are continuing to investigate this incident and would ask for anyone with information that may assist to contact them on 101 or by using the options on the West Yorkshire Police website.
"The crime reference is 13210283486.
"Information can also be reported anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555111 or online."
