THE High Sheriff of West Yorkshire paid a visit to Bradford.
Clive Lloyd and his wife Virginia, who was High Sheriff back in 2013-14, were hosted by Gill Arnold JP (pictured above, left) who is chairman of the West Yorkshire Magistrates' Bench and also a Deputy Lieutenant of West Yorkshire.
Mrs Arnold now has two new deputies who are Ben Paolozzi JP and Anthony Fisher JP.
The Office of High Sheriff is an independent non-political Royal appointment for a single year.
Supporting the Crown and the judiciary remain central elements of the role today, and they also lend support to crime prevention agencies, the emergency services and to the voluntary sector.
