BRADFORD is set to bask in a heatwave during the Bank Holiday weekend and beyond.
Temperatures over this coming weekend are set to reach a high of 23C on Sunday, followed by a few sunny and warm days, according to the Met Office.
The mercury will continue to rise over the next few days with cloudy and dry conditions, until the sunnier conditions reach Bradford on Sunday.
Saturday will be a dry and cloudy day with a high of 19C. Sunday sees the sun burst through with a maximum of 23C.
Bradford is set to be on a par with the temperatures in Ibiza and Monaco during the long weekend ahead.
The warm weather will continue on Bank Holiday Monday, with temperatures reaching 22C for a mixture of sunshine and cloudy conditions.
The heatwave is set to continue into the start of next week at least with temperatures reaching 22C on both next Tuesday and Wednesday with sunny days ahead.
