BRADFORD Police are clamping down on people who park dangerously outside schools in the city by issuing penalties.
Due to increasing complaints regarding obstructive and illegal parking outside Swain House Primary School at drop off and pick-up times, PCSOs and Bradford Council Civil Enforcement Officers (CEOs), have been patrolling together at key times.
A number of fixed penalty notices have been issued and motorists have been strongly advised, about how hazardous their parking can be to all path and road users.
Similar joint patrols between Police and Bradford Council are planned at other schools in the near future across Bradford East.
West Yorkshire Police - Bradford East added: "Please let's be mindful of children's safety outside schools and keep pathways and junctions clear for access. This includes dropped kerbs and drive-ways."
