A FIRE which caused extensive damage to two cars outside a house in Keighley in the early hours of this morning is believed to have been started deliberately.
A crew from Keighley Fire Station was called out to Skipton Road at 3am this morning, and discovered both vehicles - a Volkswagen Golf and a Range Rover - on fire when they got there.
A spokesperson from Keighley Fire Station said - at around 7.50am this morning - that they "suspect it was arson", adding that "two cars were on fire, it started with the Volkswagen Golf and then spread to the Range Rover".
The spokesperson also said that the blaze "didn't affect the nearby property", and that "quick fire-fighting saved the building".
The firefighters wore breathing apparatus and used two hose reel jets to tackle the fire.
West Yorkshire Police was also in attendance and is investigating the incident. The force has been approached for comment.
