ARMED police swooped on a Bradford street this afternoon, with one local resident describing it as "mayhem".
The onlooker, who did not wish to be named, said armed officers descended on Donald Avenue, in Odsal, at around 5.30pm today.
They added that the officers raided a house on the street.
A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said the force was called to reports of a concern for safety at a property off Smith Avenue.
Officers were deployed to the scene, but there were no injuries sustained and no arrests made.
There were seven marked police cars and two unmarked vehicles at the scene, and the police helicopter was also spotted circling above, according to the resident.
