Swimmers have a chance to test their prowess in the pool and raise cash for charity by taking part in a three months sponsored swim.
The Craven Council Charity Swim Challenge will raise cash for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
The four challenge targets are Platinum - 32 miles (2048 lengths); Gold - 24 miles (1536 lengths), Silver - 12 miles (768 lengths) and Bronze - 6 miles (384 lengths).
Swimmers are given three months - January 2 to March 31-to complete the challenge.
It is the fifth year it has been held and last year raised £3,000.
Craven Council Chairman Councillor David Ireton, said: "The Charity Swim Challenge is perfect for all those wanting to get fit in the New Year."
Anyone interested in taking part should contact Craven Swimming Pool, in Gargrave Road, Skipton, either by calling in and picking up a sponsor form from the pool reception or telephone 01756 792805.
