A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of arson following a house fire in Haworth at the weekend.
Emergency services were called to the property, in Mill Hey, shortly before 6.30pm on Saturday.
Crews from Keighley, Bingley, Illingworth and Bradford fire stations – plus an aerial appliance from Halifax – attended.
The blaze had started in the roof space.
Six breathing-apparatus sets were worn by firefighters, who tackled the blaze using three hose reel jets and a large water jet.
Yorkshire Ambulance Service – which sent two ambulances and a clinical supervisor to the scene – says one person was taken to Airedale Hospital, but there were no details of the person's injuries.
West Yorkshire Police say a 20-year-old man held on suspicion of arson remained in custody today.
Investigations by Bradford District CID are ongoing.
