Pupils at Clayton Church of England Primary School have said goodbye to their retiring head teacher Michael Joyce.
Mr Joyce, who has worked in education for 23 years, left at the start of the Christmas holidays to swap school life for helping to run his family's honey business at Denholme Gate.
Pupils at the school, pictured above with Mr Joyce, presented him with a giant bee to mark his new role.
