Bradford's regeneration plans are set to steal the limelight for the third year running at the world's biggest property conference, in the south of France.
The district's regeneration chiefs will hold a series of high-profile launches during the Marché Internationale des Professionals d'Immobilier (MIPIM), to be held in Cannes between March 11 and 14.
MIPIM, described as the Oscars of the property world, attracts 26,000 professionals from the property sector for four days of networking.
Delegates will have the opportunity to find out what is happening in the market place as well as meeting key players in the industry.
Bradford Centre Regeneration (BCR), the Urban Regeneration Company set up in 2003, said Bradford's presence at MIPIM was getting bigger and better every year.
The Bradford team is still keen to secure more sponsorship for the event and this year, for the first time, is offering three different levels of sponsorship - Gold, Silver and Bronze.
BCR said it had already secured the "well-located and popular" Felix apartment, on La Croisette, for the event.
The high profile team from BCR, Bradford Council and Yorkshire Forward will also enjoy a more prominent location inside the exhibition hall, in the Palais des Festivals.
The Bradford team will highlight the progress made to date and also make a number of key announcements about major development opportunities.
Last year, Bradford's presence in Cannes was sponsored by some of the major names in the city's regeneration, with the world's largest shopping centre developer, Westfield, the main sponsor.
Maud Marshall, chief executive of BCR, said: "The sponsorship support we received in 2006 and 2007 at MIPIM was excellent and from the feedback we know that our sponsors have greatly benefited too.
"Bradford's attendance at MIPIM 2008 will continue to play a significant role in showcasing the city's regeneration and drawing in international investment."
In 2006, Bradford's leaders used the conference to launch the £350m Bradford Channel scheme - a proposal finally given approval by the Government in August following a lengthy planning wrangle.
In 2007, regeneration chiefs used the world stage to unveil two new studies - one by Knight Frank showing that commercial investment in Bradford had more than tripled in the previous year, and one by Ipsos MORI, indicating that two thirds of Bradfordians firmly believed the regeneration plans would be delivered.
