A MAN was taken to hospital after being rescued from water late last night.
Emergency services were initially called to the River Aire, behind the Brown Cow pub in Bingley, just after 11pm.
Watch commander Jon Macdonald, of Bingley fire station, said the man, in his twenties, was found in the water in a pond/small lake area between the River Aire and Harden Road.
He was pulled from the water by two firefighters. Crews from Keighley and Shipley were also called to the scene to assist with bankside searches using thermal imaging cameras.
The man was treated by paramedics and taken to hospital.
Firefighters were at the scene for around 45 minutes.
