POLICE have praised the Bradford Hindu Council after it gave food to officers for their evening meal while they observed Ramadan fasting.
The Hindu Council delivered fruits, dates and drinks to Muslim police officers at Trafalgar House police station in Bradford for Iftar, an evening meal when they had ended their daily fast during Ramadan.
Chief Superintendent Daniel Greenwood, of Bradford District, wrote to the Hindu Council to thank them for their kind-hearted gesture on May 7.
