A MAJOR bypass has been closed for police investigation after a crash.
The collision happened earlier this evening on Stanningley Bypass (A647), near the Owlcotes Asda store and Marks & Spencer.
It is believed the crash sparked a huge response from emergency services, with multiple ambulances, police and Yorkshire Air Ambulance (YAA) all scrambling to the scene.
The westbound carriageway has been closed between Richardshaw Lane (Stanningley) and Dawsons Corner (Farsley).
