A NUMBER of people have appeared in court for dangerous dogs charges.
The cases have only recently come to either Kirklees or Bradford & Keighley Magistrates' Court.
- Danielle Spence, 29, of Woodroyd Road, Bradford, was ordered to pay costs of £250 to West Yorkshire Police, after an application for an order for destruction of a dog, namely a Pit Bull, was made in accordance with Section 4B of the dangerous dogs act 1991. She appeared in court on April 30, 2021. Order made against Danielle Spence that, unless an exemption is obtained within two months of this order, the dog shall be destroyed.
- Agnieszka Smith, 36, of Pendragon Lane, Bradford, was ordered to pay £200 costs to West Yorkshire Police, after an application was made for destruction of a dog, a Pit Bull, otherwise than on a conviction. Order made against Agnieskza Smith that, unless an exemption is obtained within two months of this order, the dog shall be destroyed.
- Christopher Hill, 44, of Mossfield Road, Chorley, Lancashire, was ordered to pay £100 compensation, fined £80, for being the owner/person in charge of dog, an American Bullmastif, dangerously out of control causing injury to a person in John Street, Bradford, on July 18, 2020.
